Matthew Martinez is a passionate baseball coach and former standout player with over 30 years of experience in the game. Born and raised in Las Vegas, New Mexico, he developed a love for sports and the outdoors at an early age. Growing up, he enjoyed fishing, hiking, and camping, while excelling in basketball, baseball, and football.

A firm believer in family values, Matthew attributes much of his success to his parents. His father, Tony, played a major role in shaping his athletic and academic achievements, while his mother, Liz, provided unwavering love and support throughout his journey.

As the GBA Director and Team Mom, I am dedicated to ensuring our players, coaches, and families have the support they need for a successful and memorable season. From organizing schedules and events to managing communication and logistics, my goal is to keep everything running smoothly so our athletes and coaches can focus on the game.

At GBA, we are more than just a team—we are a family outside of family. We focus on teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, helping our players develop not only their baseball skills but also the character and values that will serve them beyond the field. By fostering a positive and supportive environment, we strive to create an experience that builds confidence, leadership, and lifelong friendships.
