Matthew Martinez
Matthew played for Robertson High School in New Mexico (1998-2002), where he earned All-District honors and was a three-time All-State selection. His high school success led to a selection in the New Mexico North vs. South All-Star Game and multiple baseball scholarships to continue his playing career at the collegiate level.
Matthew competed at New Mexico Military Institute (2002-2003), McCook Community College (2004-2005), and New Mexico Highlands University (2005-2007). At McCook Community College, he led the team in lowest ERA and earned 2nd Team All-Region honors. At New Mexico Highlands University, he received both a baseball scholarship and an Academic Presidential Scholarship while being named Pitcher of the Week in 2006 and 2007.
